“This sneaker got the royal treatment”
Floris about this item:
“This sneaker got the royal treatment in our design room. It was the favourite of the season. The best detail is the textile label on the tongue. The shoe design was inspired by running shoes from the 1970s. We wanted the label to conjure up the spirit of the logos and packaging of that era. In the end, it turned out to be a ‘running F' in a gold colour. For the back of the label, I could come up with my own text. Now that I read it back after a few months, I’m not really sure what I was trying to say. It's about how shoes have feelings too, just like dolphins, but you’ll have to read it for yourself after you've bought them...”
