This De Okker sneaker is inspired by vintage tennis shoes. The outsole sports the signature zig-zag line that is typical for Floris van Bommel sneakers. The shoe features a rich mix of materials, with a sporty rubber insert at the heel that matches the rest of the shoe. The tongue is adorned with a textile label and the alliterative text ‘Floris Feat. Feet'. This sneaker is finished with premium leather lining and a removable footbed, which can be replaced with your own footbed or insoles, if required. This shoe has a nice, full G1/2 last that provides a wide fit range.

“There's this well-known story that says that if you were to convert the existence of the earth to a calendar year, life originated in March, multicellular organisms in November, the dinosaurs lived from 25 to 30 December, and humans only emerged in the last 40 seconds of 31 December. It's the same with us... I did the math: If I break our 307 years of shoemaking down to one year, the 20 years we’ve been making sneakers means we have been doing it since December 7. Too bad it’s right after Sinterklaas, though. We miss out on the eve of presents, which is a great opportunity to gift a pair of sneakers. But what I'm trying to say is: Look! How nice that such an old company presents such insanely beautiful sneakers inspired by vintage tennis shoes!”
