Floris about this item:

"Every season, some shoes in the collection really stand out. This is one of them. These shoes are made from leather with a multicolour snake print. In some places, an extra white finish has been applied to this print. When the leather for these shoes arrives in stock, the white you see on the shoes has already been applied in wide white swaths on the skins. The people who then define the look of these shoes are the people in the cutting department. They have to cut out all parts of the shoe so that the white on the shoe is exactly in the right place, AND that both right and left shoe have the same pattern. Patterns may vary a bit between pairs, but the left and right shoe always have to be the same."
